Join Our Team as a Program Analyst / Scrum Master:

G2 Software Systems, Inc. (G2) is seeking an experienced Program Analyst / Scrum Master to lead a small sub-team as part of a larger Integrated Product Team (IPT) supporting a dynamic DoD technology program. We are looking for an energetic, innovative, and driven Program Analyst / Scrum Master to join our cutting-edge team.

About the Role:

As a Program Analyst / Scrum Master at G2, you will work within a diverse DoD IPT developing and supporting a United States Marine Corps (USMC) software service architecture, and the applications that are deployed within that environment. You will lead a small sub-team working a key area that supports numerous other teams, and you will help the IPT leads and USMC Program Office staff manage and orchestrate the maturation and deployment of numerous USMC software applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical performance of the sub-team as part of the overall IPT.
  • Act as Scrum Master for your team, planning, coordinating, orchestrating, scheduling, and executing the evolving tasking.
  • Support the local DoD Program Manager and IPT staff in coordinating the work of this and other sub-teams.
  • Work with representatives from the USMC Program Office to analyze, document, and improve their internal processes for coordinating various USMC software application enterprise deployments.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • 2+ years of small team leadership experience, preferably in a technical field.
  • Have an existing Scrum Master certification or be willing to obtain one immediately upon start of work.
  • Experience in Agile Engineering Processes and Life Cycle.
  • Experience working with Project Management software and tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting using effective communication and writing skills.
  • This position requires an individual to be a US citizen and either have, or be able to obtain, and retain a DoD clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience as part of a Software Development product team.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master or small team lead, responsible for clarifying and prioritizing requirements, scope of work, scheduling, and execution of tasking
  • Experience working within DoD Integrated Product Teams
  • Experience supporting DoD Program Office planning and execution.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to navigate each department at G2 and at the assigned client facilities.

Location:

This is a full-time hybrid position based in San Diego, CA. You’ll enjoy the flexibility of working from home while also engaging with the team in person at the client laboratory spaces a minimum of twice a week, with occasional additional on-site days as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation range for this position in California is $150,000/year to $180,000/year, depending on your expertise, and market location conditions.
