Join Our Team as a Program Management Analyst, Mid-Level:

G2 Software Systems, Inc. (G2) is seeking a Program Management Analyst, Mid-Level, to join our team in San Diego, CA.

About the Role:

This position involves working with DoW Program Office Directors and Product Support Managers, platform reps, and fleet users. This role will work directly with the team to increase fleet operational readiness while reducing cost utilizing a “performance to plan” approach coupled with advanced analytics. The Program Management Analyst, Mid-Level, performs all functional duties independently.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures.
• Conduct work simplification and measurement studies.
• Prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
• Apply analytic techniques in support of the evaluation of program/project objectives.
• Analyze requirements, status, budget and schedules.
• Perform management, technical, or business case analyses.
• Collect, complete, organize and interpret data relating to projects and programs.
• Track program/project status and schedules.
• Apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
• Provide project management for a team of 10+ personnel to increase fleet readiness via involvement with Organizational-Level Operations (squadrons), Intermediate-Level Maintenance, Supply Support, and terminal design for reliability and sustainability.
• Assist Fleet Sustainment Lead in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects/deliverables.
• Review of processes and methods to achieve effective results.
• Assist in travel coordination for team members to/from military shore and ship-based sites both within the US and internationally.
• Assist in the development of status briefs

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university; preferably in a technical area.
• Six (6) years of additional relevant work experience, or an Associate’s Degree plus four (4) years of additional relevant work experience, may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Four (4) or more years of technical and/or technical project management experience.
• Specialized project management support experience with a Navy acquisition program or related/comparable project management support experience with Department of War (DoW) agencies.
• Experience applying data management, data analysis, and data visualization.
• Experience in designing multiple data visualization techniques, and applying the most appropriate visualization tailored to various audiences.
• Excellent oral and written skills.
• Excellent critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to learn and apply project management concepts to assigned duties.
• Strong organizational skills.
• This position requires an individual to be a US citizen and to hold an active or interim Secret clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficient with SharePoint and OneNote.
• Familiar with Microsoft Project.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to navigate each department at the assigned facility.

Location:

This is a full-time, on-site position based at the customer site in San Diego, CA. Travel is less than 10%.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation range for this position in California is $100,000 to $127,000 annually, depending on your expertise, market location conditions, and government contract specifics.
