Our Story

After sixteen years in the computer engineering industry, Ms. Georgia Griffiths founded G2 Software Systems, Inc. (G2) in 1989 with a vision to fill an essential niche in the industry by delivering top-tier engineering experts with unparalleled qualifications. G2 created a unique compensation plan and management structure that enabled the company to increase compensation to employees while delivering lower prices to our customers. The name “G2” reflects a commitment to precise, intelligent, and mission-driven solutions. Today, G2 is an Employee-Owned Company, ensuring that its employees directly benefit from the company’s success.

At G2, the work goes beyond solving problems — it’s about making the world safer, stronger, and better.

Leadership

We are a woman-founded, employee-owned company whose goal is to create a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Before forming her own company in 1989, Ms. Griffiths worked for both private industry and government support contractors including Hughes Aircraft (where she was awarded a University of Southern California [USC] Fellowship), TRW, Bendix, SolarTurbines, and Compusec in areas including technical, management, product management, and marketing. Her revolutionary “Tea Leaf Algorithm,” published in Communication of ACM, July 1987, afforded algorithms with error-detection and increased speed. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from California State University Long Beach and a Master of Science in Computer Science from USC.
